Eight teens from the Our Lady of Lourdes Youth Ministry spent their Friday night baking pumpkin-bread loaves on Nov. 19. They exceeded their goal of baking 50 loaves with the help of parents and ministry members.
The bread was included in the Thanksgiving baskets delivered to needy families as part of the St. Vincent de Paul pantry program at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Adult volunteers offered their time and ovens to help bake the loaves of pumpkin bread.
