Road repairs between Exit 13 and Ext 23 on the Southern State Parkway are expected to result in lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Jan. 15.

From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one or two eastbound lanes on the Southern State Parkway between Meadowbrook Road, Exit 23, and Central Avenue, Exit 13, will be closed for pothole repairs and other maintenance through Friday, Jan. 15, weather permitting, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes or they could experience travel delays. Drivers are reminded to proceed carefully through the work zone and obey the posted speed limit.
