Light Drizzle Fog/Mist Local teens to participate in 'Long Island Challenge'
Both West Hempstead and Malverne high schools will participate in MSG Varsity high school quiz show “Long Island Challenge.”
While West Hempstead’s academic team will be showcased on Feb. 13, Malverne’s team will be competing in a first-round matchup against the Long Island Lutheran High School on Dec. 19.
Members of West Hempstead’s academic team are Jason Kappel, Caroline Moyer-Laurin, Peter Paluch, Charles Varrone and Pierre Leconte, who will serve as an alternate.
On Malverne’s academic team are Samantha Solero, team captain Aalique Grahame, Xavier Bernard, Ozichukwu Konkwo and alternate Priscilla Varghese.
