Nine inches dumped on city

Students and teachers in Long Beach got another snow day thanks to nine inches of snow that fell onto the barrier island on Wednesday. At 12pm the City Manager Charles Theofan issued a snow emergency requesting that all vehicles be removed from snow emergency routes or risk towing.
