Lucky for such a great hospital

I was a patient at Franklin Hospital three times in the past three years, and they helped save my life. When I came in with a kidney problem and went into sepsis, Dr. Shah and Dr. Ogunfowora saved my life with the wonderful team in Franklin’s emergency room and intensive care unit. Thanks again.

On Nov. 1, I was rushed into the emergency room with a stroke and their stroke nurse, Mrs. Sorrentino, and her team immediately took over and not only saved my life, but prevented further complications. Thanks again.

After a week in the hospital, I was sent to Orzac, the rehab division. The great team of physical therapists help hundreds of folks get their bodies back into shape. Helen and Samantha were my two angels. Their care and patience helped me get my body going again. Thanks gain.

In Room 239, I got great treatment from Agnes, Gladys and Ruth and all the nurses and aides who ministered to me. They also have great teamwork. Thanks again.

The meals were great. I asked if my mother came down from heaven and was cooking in the kitchen when I tasted the macaroni and sauce.

Did you know that Orzac also has long-term nursing service and great entertainment? Larine and Pauline supervise Bingo, arts and crafts and religious services for all faiths, and keep their patients happy while they are there.

I thank everyone who helped me get well and feel comforted during my three-week stay at Franklin and Orzac. Thanks again.

Mayor Ed Fare, you are keeping the village in great shape and the icing on the cake is the great hospital we are lucky to have in our community. How lucky can we get? Thank you, and God bless all of us in Valley Stream.
