Lynbrook Chamber 'money' giveaway

Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce officials randomly selected the first 12 winners of the Lynbrook Chamber Dollars promotion on Tuesday. The lucky entrants will each receive $25 in “Chamber Money” to spend at any participating merchant’s establishment or business.

Stephen D Wangel, NKBA, of The Kitchen Loft and A & K Tile Studio, had the distinct pleasure of calling the 12 winners.

"Everyone was pleased to find out that they received 'free money' from the chamber," he said. "One winner even commented that they try to shop local as much as they can. That's the purpose of the contest."

Mayor Brian Curran has agreed to allow the Chamber to present the lucky winners with their gift certificates at the next televised village board meeting on September 20 at 7 p.m.
