Man robs Capital One Bank

The bank was robbed by a man who demanded cash on Jan. 13.

Police are looking for a man who robbed Capital One Bank, at 356 N. Central Ave. in Valley Stream, on Jan. 13.
The suspect entered the bank at 4:50 p.m., approached a teller and demanded cash. The teller complied and the suspect fled west on Clarendon Drive with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were five employees and no customers in the bank during the incident, police said. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as white, 5 feet 8 with a thin build and wearing a black hooded jacket, black gloves and a scarf around his face.
