Valley Stream Memorial Junior High School students got a lesson in the importance lifelong learning on May 29, as the school hosted a read aloud in its library.
Faculty members read different books, poems, short stories and other literature to seventh-grade English classes. The event allowed teachers to demonstrate the importance of reading.
