Mepham High –– first in charity

Students at W.C. Mepham High School in North Bellmore were recently recognized by MSG Varsity and Cablevision’s Power to Learn for their participation in Charity Champions, for which students compete to raise money for charitable causes. As Nassau County’s first-prize winner in the contest, the school was presented with $2,500 to be donated to Autism Speaks.
