Mepham kickline leads by example

Posted

Members of the Mepham High School varsity kickline became teachers on Jan. 17 when they held an instructional clinic for elementary-age children interested in potentially performing with the dance team in high school.

Dozens of children packed the gymnasium in the Brookside School in North Merrick for the three-hour clinic, held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children received a T-shirt, bagels and juice, and two hours of dance instruction.
