Merrick’s Turkey Bowl celebrates four years

The Thanksgiving tradition began in 2007 and has continued annually for the past four years –– Merrick’s very own Turkey Bowl –– a game of touch football played between neighborhood kids, with their fathers joining in the fun. This year, more than 30 sixth-grade boys took part in the game, played at the Town of Hempstead’s John Street Park.
