Sewanhaka High School’s National Art Honor Society recently inducted 31 students. At the ceremony, President Vincenzo Orologio inducted student-artists, while parents, family and staff members looked on with pride. Students listened intently as guest speaker Katie Hillman, an educator from the Nassau County Museum of Art, shared her experiences as a visual artist. Senior inductees were also given unique rainbow tassels to wear at graduation to signify their dedication as a student artist. At the conclusion of the ceremony, guests were invited to enjoy refreshments while viewing an art show displaying students’ accomplishments throughout the year.
