In addition, two lanes will be closed on the Peninsula Boulevard Bridge between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Drivers are urged to use alternate routes such as Sunrise Highway (NY Route 27) or they will experience delays. As with most road work, this operation is weather dependent and may be canceled, postponed, or prolonged due to inclement weather.

Emergency service providers and local officials have been notified of these travel lane closures. Motorists are being warned in advance of these closures via portable and overhead INFORM electronic message signs.
