Light Rain No person found after search by the Atlantic Beach Bridge

Emergency responders from the Five Towns and New York City investigated the report off a jumper from the Atlantic Beach Bridge on June 2.

Near 7 p.m. on June 2, there was a report of a person jumping from the Atlantic Beach Bridge by 225 Beach 2nd Street near Seagirt Boulevard and Park Street.
Emergency responders from Atlantic Beach Rescue, the Fire Department of New York City, Inwood and the Lawrence-Cedarhurst ire departments, Nassau County police, New York City police and the U.S. Coast Guard responded.
A launch area was set up in Silver Point County Park. After a 90-minute search, no one was found.
