Children ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade gathered at the Glen Cove Library on Dec. 13 for an evening of winter fun and treats at the Snowman Cupcake event.
The library’s head of youth services, Anna E. Dunlop, read a trio of classic winter and snowmen stories to the crowd of over 20 children. The creativity started flowing after the stories concluded, as the children were able to decorate their own vanilla cupcakes with frosting, marshmallows, chocolates and of course, candy snowmen.
A fun and delicious time was had by all.
