Free medical equipment
The National Amputation Foundation, located at 40 Church St. in Malverne, has a free donated durable medical equipment give-a-way program open to anyone in need. Equipment includes wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, commodes, crutches and canes. Items must be picked up at the office. Please call (516) 887-3600 for more information.

NAACP membership meeting
The NAACP Lakeview branch will hold a general membership meeting for the purpose of electing officers and at-large executive committee members on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, located at 453 Pershing Blvd. in Rockville Centre. Call (516) 764-5537 for more information.

Meet Mr. Raymond
The Malverne Historical & Preservation Society, located at 369 Ocean Ave., proudly presents the artwork of Arthur Raymond for one weekend only. Come meet Mr. Raymond, a member of the Art League of Nassau County whose watercolor "The Apothecary Shop" was most recently honored, on Saturday, Nov. 20, and Sunday, Nov. 21, from noon to 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Craft and vendor fair
Valley Stream North High School is having its 10th Annual Craft and Vendor Fair on Sunday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 750 Herman Ave, Franklin Square. Many vendors will have handcrafted or new items. This will be a great opportunity to do holiday shopping. Ample parking and refreshments are available. Still accepting vendors. A discussion on hearing
On Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m., the Hearing Loss Association of America, formally "SHHH" will meet at the Oceanside Public Library, located at 30 Davison Ave, to hear a leading doctor of audiology discuss living better with hearing loss.
