Oceanside bank robbed

According to police, a man robbed the TD Bank in Oceanside at 12:55 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Police say the man is dark skinned, of a medium build and approximately five feet, seven inches tall, wearing blue jeans, a black and white hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses. Detectives said that the man entered the bank, located at 247 Long Beach Road in Oceanside, and demanded money. Police say that the teller was afraid and handed over an undisclosed amount of money before the suspect fled the scene on foot. There were eight employees and four customers present during the robbery. No injuries were reported.
