Light Rain Oceanside bank robbed
Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Oceanside on May 29.
According to police, at approximately 12:50 p.m. a man entered TD Bank, located at 247 Long Beach Road in Oceanside, and verbally demanded money from the teller. After obtaining an unknown amount of money, police say the man fled out of the front door and in an unknown direction. There were seven employees and 12 customers in the back at the time. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with medium build, about 30 to 35 years old, wearing an aqua blue polo shirt and dark shorts. The suspect had lightly tinted sunglasses on and a light blue baseball hat.
