Four Oceanside High School athletes recently signed letters of acceptance to play college football. Chris Flynn, left, and Brian Ellis, right, will attend Muhlenberg College. Both will play football, and Flynn will also play baseball. Gene Garay, second from right, will attend Amherst College, where he was awarded a full scholarship for football and basketball. Oceanside’s star quarterback Tyler Heuer, second from left, is staying close to home, at C.W. Post, where he received a full football scholarship. “I’m just proud that he’s living his dream,” said Scott Heuer, Tyler’s father.
