Oceanside woman arrested by Nassau police, charged with endangering a disabled person

An Oceanside woman was arrested on Oct. 14 and charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, detectives from the Fourth Precinct responded to a home on Skillman Avenue to investigate a grand larceny. The victim who had their items stolen requires a home aide.

When they arrived, police determined that the aide left the residence when she heard detectives knocking on the door. Humadai Humadai, 59, was located and arrested by police at the Green Acres Mall. After she was found, police discovered that she was wanted for arrest in another state, according to a release by the NCPD.

Humadai is being charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person. She was scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 15 at First District Court, in Hempstead.
