Police eyeing Valley Stream robbers

A Valley Stream eyeglass story was robbed at gun point on Wednesday evening.

According to police, two men entered Cheaper Peepers on Green Acres Road on Aug. 4 at 6:47 p.m. One of the subjects pulled a handgun from under his shirt and demanded money. After removing cash from the register, he and another subject grabbed handfuls of sunglasses and fled.

Both suspects are described as black males in their 40s. One was wearing a royal blue T-shirt. They were seen fleeing west on Sidney Place toward Sears,
