Police searching for Oceanside bank robber

Nassau County police are looking for the unidentified man who robbed Ocean Financial Federal Credit Union on Monday.

At about 12:40 p.m., the man approached a teller at the Atlantic Avenue credit union and passed a demand note, according to detectives. After receiving an unknown amount of money, he fled on foot towards Kenneth Place. No injuries were reported.

The man was described as being a 5-foot-11 African American in his 30s with a medium build. He was wearing a black knit hat, eyeglasses and a blue hooded jacket.
