Police seek TD Bank robbery suspect

Nassau County Police are seeking the man who robbed a Valley Stream bank on Wednesday. The unknown man entered TD Bank at the corner of Merrick Road and Central Avenue on Dec. 4 at 11:10 a.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding cash.

After receiving an undetermined amount of money, the man left the bank. He was last scene on foot heading northbound on Central Avenue. There were nine employees and four customers inside at the time. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5-foot-8 with a beard wearing a black winter hat and black jacket. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
