Questions for school board, library candidates

Posted

Residents will vote for members of their school and library board on May 17. On the Oceanside School Board, Michael D’Ambrosio and Robert Transom are both running for re-election in uncontested races.

Kathleen McDonough is running unopposed for the Island Park School Board. Tom McCreight, who has been on the Island Park Library Board for 18 years, is running for re-election.

The Herald asked all four questions to better understand their positions and ideas. These answers have been edited for clarity.
