Racist graffiti found in Rockville Centre

Nassau County officers are investigating four incidents of graffiti found on residential fences in the village on Wednesday, including one that involved a racist term.

According to detectives, blue spray painted graffiti was found on two fences on Bulson Road and another one on Wright Road. A racist term was discovered spray painted on a fence on Hempstead Avenue. Police said the incidents took place between 10:30 a.m. and 5:05 p.m. on Jan. 18.

This crime of aggravated harassment is being considered a bias incident and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
