Long Island is expected to get hit with heavy rain and high winds from Tropical Storm Ophelia this weekend.

The storm is forescast to drop up to 3 inches of rain and wind gusts near 45 mph, causing hazardous road conditions with the possibility of downed trees and/or branches to fall on power lines that could result in power outages in Nassau and Suffolk counties and coastal flooding.
