Riddick “Big Daddy” Bowe, the two-time undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, is on the comeback trail.

Bowe, 42, was in Rockville Centre Saturday night at Cannon’s Blackthorn Irish American Restaurant and Bar signing boxing gloves and photographs while taping a segment for his new reality show. He spoke and answered questions about his comeback and the reality show that promoters say chronicles his rags to riches, riches to rags story — reminiscent of Rocky V.

Bowe, a former Silver Medal winner at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, is best remembered for his trilogy of fights with Evander Holyfield and two brutal bouts with Andrew Golota. In 1991 he captured the IBF/WBC/WBA heavyweight championship in a match with Holyfield. After two successful defenses, Holyfield took the title back in a rematch.

Bowe won the WBO championship in 1995 with a sixth-round knockout of Herbie Hide. Bowe made one defense of that title with a sixth-round defeat of Cuban Jorge Luis Gonzalez before again toppling Holyfield.
