The Waldorf School of Garden City recently announced that Sheppard Somers, a Rockville Centre resident, has been named a Commended Student in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. A letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation was presented to Somers for his outstanding achievement.
