The women’s team from Lynbrook, NY, representing the USTA Eastern Section, captured the national title at the USTA League 7.0 Super Senior National Championships, held at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex in Surprise, Arizona. The Lynbrook team, including Rockville Centre residents Nancy Johnson, Pat Daly, Karen Rennus Matthews, Leslie Wecksler and Dale Conway, defeated a team from Honolulu, Hawaii 2-1 in the Championship match.
