Alixandra LoParo completed her freshman year at Boston University where she succeeded in making Dean’s List for both the first and second semesters. She is also a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.  Alixandra is a 2009 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

Stacy Longo graduated with cum laude honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she studied for four years, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art and Design. The graduation ceremony was held at Radio City Music Hall on May 25.  Stacy, a 2006 graduate of South Side High School, is the daughter of Bob and Susan Longo.

Jonathan LoParo graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care.  He was inducted into the Alpha Chi National College Honor Scholarship Society, whose membership maintains a G.P.A. of 3.5 or greater.  Jonathan is also a member of the Alpha Eta Health Professions Honor Society and the Lambda Beta Respiratory Care Honor Society. He received both the Academic Excellence and Clinical Excellence awards. After successfully passing the RRT boards, Jonathan has accepted a position as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. Jonathan was a 2003 graduate of Holy Trinity Diocesan High School and also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Oswego in 2007.  

Armand J. Vella IV, a 2005 graduate of South Side High School, has graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.

Brian Laureano, a 2009 graduate of South Side High School, was named to the Dean's List at the University of Connecticut for his work during the spring 2010 semester.

Samantha Sembler, a member of Muhlenberg College's class of 2011 was named to its Dean's List for the spring 2010 semester. A Theatre and Music major, Samantha is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Sembler and a graduate of South Side High School.

Roseanna Valant was named to the Wagner College Dean's List for the spring 2010 semester.

Alexis Jade Kahan, a 1997 graduate of South Side High School, received her Doctorate of Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology of Yeshiva University. Alexis has accepted an offer to work as a school psychologist in a private school in Manhattan.
