Saddened by Inatome fire

To the Editor:

I am so sad for the owners of my favorite place to eat, Inatome Japanese Steakhouse and Seafood (“Fire ravages Inatome restaurant,” Nov. 4-10).

I am 12 years old and my family would go there for birthdays, anniversaries and anything we felt like celebrating. Along with Mr. Keiji Inatome, 2010 is not my year. I was promised that for my sixth-grade graduation I could have a party or anything I wanted. I wanted to go to Inatome for my favorite meal. I was bad that day, so Mom canceled it. I had to do a lot of extra work, and when Mom felt I had made up for my mistakes and learned my lesson, she said she would take me there.

We were going there next week and taking my great-grandma, who will turn 92 on Thanksgiving. I just couldn’t wait. Boy, have I learned and missed out twice now. So sorry for the owners, it is a double sadness. Sorry, Mr. Keiji. Please rebuild.
