It was lights, cameras and a ton of action as Seaford Middle School students took the stage at the school’s annual talent show on Dec. 7.
There were musical performances of all sorts including singing and dance routines. Several students also showcased their instrumental abilities. Christina Urso, a teacher at the school, organized the event for the past six years.
The event, “Seaford’s Got Talent,” replaced the singing competition, “Seaford Idol,” that had been held in previous years. Urso said the change was made to feature more students with a variety of talents.
The crowd enthusiastically cheered the performers, and many clapped or stomped along. At the end of the night, winners were crowned.
