Overcast Sewanhaka Robotics Club heads to regional

The Sewanhaka Central High School District Senior Robotics Club placed fifth in the FIRST Tech Challenge Regional Championship Tournament, hosted by New York University School of Engineering on March 1.
Sewanhaka had a 4-1 record after the initial round robin phase and was ranked in fifth place overall. The club, which competed against 39 teams, was part of a three-team alliance, which included Stuyvesant High School and a private team from New York City.
The team’s performance secured them a spot to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge Super Regional Competition in Scranton, Pennsylvania on March 19-21.
