The Rockville Centre Choral Society held its annual spring concert at St. James United Methodist Church in Lynbrook on Saturday, May 12, at 8 p.m.,

“I Believe In Song” featured classical works by Handel and Brahms, as well as selections from the musical “Les Miserables.” Other modern classics will include songs by John Rutter, Carly Simon, Bob Dylan and the 70s rock group “Kansas.”

Led by Director Jean Stevenson with Yen Yen Haas as accompanist, the Rockville Centre Choral Society is a four-part chorus devoted to sharing music of all kinds with its audiences. The chorus welcomed the Children’s Chorus, a group brought together specifically for this concert, featuring children ages five through 12, to sing with the adult chorus.
