Malverne Mel saw his shadow on Thursday morning, meaning that we're in for six more weeks of winter. In the village's annual Groundhog Day tradition, Malverne Mel's handler Andre Ricaud, held up Mel who whispered his prediction in Mayor Patricia McDonald's ear.
