The Island Park Chamber of Commerce held its annual Calypso Barbecue under the gazebo at Masone Beach on July 14.
The storms held off, and residents were able to come out and enjoy delicious barbecue and all the beer, wine and soda they could drink. They were also able to drink in the sounds of a professional calypso band, which regaled people for hours as the sun set.
