The South High School Parents Club will be holding a raffle next month to raise money for students. The prize is a $5,000 Disney gift card.

Diane Winter, vice president of the Parents Club, said money will go toward school clubs and to purchase SmartBoards for classrooms. The winning ticket will be drawn at the South High School Clutural Club's dinner theatre event on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. Winter said one does not have to be present at the drawing to win.

If more than 200 tickets are sold, Winter said they will raffle off two Disney gift cards, each valued at $5,000. It can be used for Disney Cruise Lines, Disney World, Disneyland and at DIsney stores. She said it is a debit card so it does not have to be used at one time or for one vacation.

Each ticket costs $50. To enter the raffle, call Winter at (516) 791-1738 or Billy and Patty Gillespie at (516) 825-1325.
