Special Olympics

Members of South Side High School's Athletes Helping Athletes club recently volunteered their time at the Long Island Special Olympics Floor Hockey Competition. They are photographed with the Nassau County Lions team. South Side High School will host the games next December.

  Members of the club include Paul Casazza, Avery Chung, Brett Cohen, Kyle Davis, Deana Davoudiasl, Michael Firestone, Mike Goldstein, Tom Kane, Samantha Kouloulas, Lauren LoPresti, Erin McDerby, Megan McGrath, Peter Ravn, Carly Roman, Dillon Scaduto, Zach Scaduto, Kathryn Sheppard, Peter Strong and Gabrielle Wamboldt. They were joined by other South Side athletes Matt Connelly, Taylor Kosakoff and James Scott.
