Spending the break at Tanglewood

Posted

Kids from Rockville Centre and surrounding towns spent part of their winter break doing more than staying in the house.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning at the Tanglewood Preserve hosted a series of classes for kids over the break. They were all fun and educational.

Kids learned about physics — like how centrifugal force works — and built rockets. They got to see and pet the animals at the CSTL and even learned about geology. It was an information- and fun-filled series of classes.
