South Side Middle School’s Department of Performing Arts proudly presents its spring musical production of “Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.” Set in 1905 in a small Jewish village in Russia, it is the story of dairyman Tevye and his attempts to preserve his family’s traditions in a changing world. The production is co-directed by Melissa De La Vega and Victor Lee, with choreography by Patricia Ury and stage management by Anthony Pomponio and Ryan Bockelmann.
Musical numbers include well-known songs such as Sunrise, Sunset, If I Were a Rich Man, and Matchmaker.
Performances are 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9 and at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 in the South Side Middle School auditorium. Tickets are $5.
