St. Agnes students enjoy enrichment program

Posted

It is the end of the school day at St. Agnes Cathedral School, and things are hardly quiet. The sounds of the alphabet and algebra have given way to the clicking of cameras in the computer room, the whirring of an electric mixer in the cafeteria, and an occasional shout of “checkmate” from the library. Enrichment classes are held three days a week after school at St. Agnes — 17 this fall. The classes include Story Art, Yoga, Future Chefs, Chess, Speed, Strength and Agility, Magic and Dance. The school will offer enrichment classes again in the winter, and an all-sports program will follow in the spring. The program is organized by Jane Houdek and Robert Wiedenhoft, members of the St. Agnes School Board.
