Mostly Cloudy St. Patrick’s Parade gives $90,000 to charities

The 2014 Rockville Centre St. Patrick’s Day Parade awarded the proceeds of the committee’s fundraising efforts to the Parade’s 2014 sponsor charities on Tuesday, April 29, at Kasey’s Kitchen and Cocktails. This year’s charities were the The Nassau County AOH Feis Committee, Angleman Syndrome Foundation, and New Ground — each of which received $30,000 from the parade committee. Over the past 18 years, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade has raised $878,000 for 55 different charities
