The Msgr. Walsh/St. Raymond Knights of Columbus hosted a family carnival last weekend on the schools’ grounds.

Residents enjoyed games, rides, music, entertainment and a food and beer court.

Deputy Grand Knight and Chairman Bill Bulter observed that the Carnival seemed to bring back so many great memories for so many people — the same people who years ago couldn’t wait for the carnival to be back each year Well good news — it’s back!

“When I was walking around the grounds, it was great to see people who I grew up with walking around with they kids,” said Butler. “To see parents and grandparents waving to their children and grandchildren on the rides or sharing some delicious zeppoles was really great to see. I think this is what the community needs, some old traditions that made us all feel good.”

“The Knights of Columbus would like to thank Pastor Chuck and Sr. Ruthann for giving the Knights of Columbus the opportunity to bring the Carnival back to St. Raymond’s,” he said, adding that the K of C is already planning next year’s festivities.
