If You Give a Mouse a Cookie’
Laura Numeroff’s beloved story comes to life, in a charming production adapted for the stage by Jody Davidson. This show brings to life the antics of a small boy and the mouse that follows him home after he gives the mouse a cookie. Every page comes to life in this cheerful romp for the entire family. This play, first produced by the Tony Award-winning Children’s Theater Company of Minneapolis, will have everyone smiling.

Crafts and Fine Arts Festival
Craft artists and designers display their varied creations when Nassau County Museum of Art hosts the Spring Crafts and Fine Art Fair. Artists and designers from throughout the U.S. will showcase their original creations throughout the weekend. These nationally recognized artists present painting, sculpture, jewelry pottery, textiles, furniture, and more. See a blacksmith forge red-hot iron into decorative objects, touch live alpacas and see wool being spun and woven, among the many related workshops.

Mother’s Day Outing

Lilac Walk
Treat mom to some flowers. Surrounded her with fragrant blooms, at Old Westbury Gardens, where the gardens are coming alive with color. Stroll with a master gardener through the fragrant Lilac Walk and experience the glorious lilacs in bloom at this time of year. Walking among the flowers will certainly put a smile on mom’s face! Bring a picnic lunch or visit the Cafe in the Woods, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon that will exhilarate everyone’s senses on mom’s special day.
