Though Labor Day has yet to come, school bells are already ringing.
Students in Rockville Centre schools hoisted their backpacks and headed back to class on Tuesday, starting the new year off before Labor Day — slightly earlier than usual.
At Watson School, kids and parents got a chance to check out the school’s brand new playground and building extension before classes began.
