Talented artists with disabilities

The Friedberg JCC opened the second Annual Art Show for Individuals with Disabilities on April 27. The event featured the work of teens and young adults who participate in the Art Club for Individuals with Disabilities and other special needs programming at the JCC. These talented students worked with various mediums throughout the year, including painting, drawing, graphic design, and sculpture, and the show gives them the opportunity to showcase their work to family, friends, and JCC members. In addition to teaching students about different art techniques, the Art Club offers an opportunity for students to socialize with one another and practice conversational skills.
