Teen robbed in Valley Stream

A 15-year-old male was robbed at knife point at Emerson Place and East Melrose Street on May 29 at 12:15 a.m. The victim’s cell phone was stolen along with $15 cash.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 16-17 years old, 5-foot-11, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a black male, 16-17 years old, 5-foot-9 wearing a gray and yellow hooded jacket and blue jeans. They fled westbound on Melrose Street.

No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
