Tractor trailer causes delays at exit 18 on SSP

A tractor trailer accident on the Southern State Parkway is causing traffic delays in West Hempstead.

According to New York State Police, a tractor trailer got on the Southern State at Eagle Avenue, exit 18. The trailer then hit the overpass.

Traffic is still moving through the area, but slowly.
