A Valley Stream resident received an award on July 29 for his work with Catholic Health Services of Long Island, the network of health and human services agencies based in Rockville Centre.

Brice Beach, a staff attorney for the company, was awarded the Living the Mission Award “for exemplifying the CHS mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence,” according to a company statement.

Beach was commended for working efficiently, showing respect for his colleagues and always being willing to take on additional assignments.

A graduate of the University of Scranton, he earned his law degree from Hofstra University’s School of Law. He joined CHS in 2011. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and participates in its student mentoring program, which provides adult guidance in one-on-one sessions with elementary students who are considered at-risk. He is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
