Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce installs new officers

They have played a leading role in setting up and supporting Valley Stream’s most time-honored events from the village’s Memorial Day parade to fireworks extravaganza at Firemen’s Field to the Valley Stream Car Show and weekly concerts on the Village Green.

They are none other than the Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce, which, in addition to its central mission of welcoming and supporting local businesses, have been an unwavering resource for the community. These past few months, the Chamber has focused on supporting the revival of the business district on Rockaway Avenue.

And earlier this month, it welcomed in new officers at its installation dinner at the Tepache restaurant in Valley Stream on Sept 28. Sasan Shavanson of One in a Million Inc. was re-elected President of the Chamber of Commerce. Joining him is Lee Feinman as executive vice president, Angela Ogurick as vice president, Glenore Anderson as treasurer, and Sandra Shanhai as secretary.
